Modern moms have a need of modern gadgets. And for me, the two gadgets I couldn’t do without are my laptop and my mobile phone. These are not what I have wanted for so long, but these are the stuffs I need to make sure that being a laborer in the company and a wife, at the same time, a mother at home will be working at an optimum level.

My laptop is very important, because I am doing a lot of paper works most of the time. I’m in a constant typist at the same time a researcher. I need to encode data, monitor our company’s plan, and even distribute information to different people in the United States and even across the globe. I’m just thankful that web browsing is already available everywhere I go.

More than that, my laptop is my comfort zone, especially if I’m a little bit stressful. I would often create romantic cards and letters for my husband, and colorful drawings for my sons, using photo editing and drawing software.

My cellular phone is very important because my husband, Jeremy, and my two sons, Labron and Jamal, would often call me and ask me for something. I’m also contacting them to pacify my worries and anxieties, especially if I am away from them for a long time.

How difficult life will be for me without these gadgets. Surely, I will be having a hard time in my job, and in getting in touch with my family. I’m just thankful that modern days have proliferated handy stuffs to aid me in my everyday life.
