Every Christmas, I would often wish for my husband, Jeremy, to give up alcohol drinking, because I don’t want him to get intoxicated. I am also wishing that my eldest son Labron, would find the perfect girlfriend, and he will would break his two-month relationship record, which is the longest he ever had with a girl. For my youngest son, I am wishing that he will finally be considered in the basketball varsity team, or better enough, he will be winning the national swimming championships, which he really likes to achieve for the past two years now.

And for myself, I’m just wishing for promotion in the company. I’ve been working there for almost ten years, and even Santa Clause is already wondering why I never had a chance to get a step higher in the organizational chart. In addition, this year’s wishes will be a lot different for myself. Aside from the getting promoted, I am also wishing that we would be able to travel Kuala Lumpur, Dubai and Seoul next year. Ever since, I wanted to see the Petronas Towers, have a taste of Korean food and culture, and visit the grandest hotel in the Arab world. I will surely be in high spirits when I reach these places together with my family. But still, these are only wishes, or aspirations. I may never know if Santa will grant me this, or he will first consider for my boss to promote me in the company. Either of which, I would be a happy person, and I will surely be wishing for more next Christmas season.
