I am Miranda and like most mothers I experience the pressure of making the Christmas holiday a momentous occasion for our families. Being a mother of two kids namely Jamal and Labron is difficult enough. Not to add the usual daily routine I do when reminding my husband Jeremy of things to buy during the holidays. I have to accomplish a seemingly insurmountable task of preparing a decent Christmas celebration. It is expected mothers should take care of the planning and making sure that the family experience the best occasion. The task could have been easier if I was a full time mom. However, I have to cram up my schedules because of my work as a chemical engineer. Being able to budget my time is usually what makes it really challenging. Accomplishing both task of managing work commitments and family affairs could really take its tool in your body. The stress could sometimes take over. There are times when I could easily get angry even the slightest mistakes. I usually take deep breathing exercises in order to relax myself.
Preparing for the Christmas holidays requires hard work. Even so, it is still worth the effort. Seeing the smiles from my two kids could really take away all those worries I have. This is what the holidays bring to families. It gives you a time to bond with your kids and husband. Christmas only comes ones a year and it is definitely worth your effort making it something memorable.
