About

Hi, my name is Miranda McKinley. I am 35 years old and I work as an electrical engineer at St. Thomas Hydroelectric Company. I am married to Jeremy, a 36-year old chef at Mary Clair Hotel, and we are living together for almost twelve years now.

We have two sons, Labron, seventeen years old, and is presently studying at Lincoln University taking up Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering; and Jamal, eleven years old, and presently on his fifth grade at St. Peter’s Square School.

I’m lucky to be married to a chef, because our family dinner would always be something special and extraordinary. For instance, our menu last night was consist of Grilled Beef and vegetable kabobs, Roasted Prawns and Shiitake Mushroom Salad, New Country Chicken pie with herbed biscuit topping, and Hawaiian Iced Tea. Isn’t it mouth-watering?

I’m both a full time laborer and mother. I can’t disregard one aspect of myself from the other. I am needed in my office, and I am also often wanted by my husband and kids, that is why everything is important for me. Indeed, it is very difficult to be a woman, especially if you have a family to attend to.

But on top of my responsibilities, I take time to enjoy myself. I would often ask my husband to go camping and fishing on weekends. I also desire adventure and thrilling stuffs, like surfing, skateboarding, cycling, and rappelling. But aside from these, I also love the moonlight and the starry night, especially when I’m with my husband, and we are sharing our dreams together.
